St. Patrick’s Day in Massachusetts: Where You Can Celebrate with Irish Food and In-State Entertainment

Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.

And to make the day even more fun to celebrate, Massachusetts residents can head to many places across the Commonwealth that join in the celebration on and around St. Patrick’s Day.

Here’s where you can find lucky promotions for the upcoming holidays:

Anna’s will be offering corned beef and cabbage burritos, stuffed with corned beef, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, spicy or regular mustard and cheese. The burritos will be available on March 17. Customers can also pre-order to guarantee an order from March 14-16. The burritos will be available at their stores in Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Newton and Somerville.

Champney’s, located in Deerfield, will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day with live Irish music from Debi Spyre from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant is also adding special Irish options to its menu, including:

  • Colcanon kibble
  • Spring Roast Leg of Lamb
  • Corned Beef & Cabbage
  • Bangers and mash

From March 1 and until St. Patrick’s Day, the pub will serve corned beef and cabbage every day for dinner, depending on their Facebook page.

Located opposite Fenway Park, patrons can spend St. Patrick’s Day at the pub with live music and Guinness beer, their website states. They will also host live music starting at 10 a.m., with the last act performing at 9 p.m.

Guests can enjoy a St. Patrick’s Day special that will be served Thursday, March 17 through Sunday, March 20 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to a statement from OAK Long Bar + Kitchen.

The restaurant also offers a traditional angus beef and Guinness pie combo, with colcannon potatoes and Irish whiskey sauce, and a pint of Guinness for $27, the statement said.

This popular Worcester pub offers St. Patrick’s Day-themed cocktails, including a Shamrock Sour Sipper, an Irish Donkey and a Green with Envy Martini, according to their website. For beer lovers, the pub offers a range of Irish ales like Guinness and Magner’s Irish Cider, to name a few.

As part of St. Patrick’s Day specials, the pub serves a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner daily. On Fridays and Saturdays only, the pub serves prime rib roast au jus, according to their St. Patrick’s Day specialty menu on their website.

The pub was voted the best Irish pub in Massachusetts last year according to Taste of Mass.

Nathan Bill’s will be hosting different ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. According to their Facebook page, the pub welcomes customers on March 17 to receive an Irish Blessing with Father Frank from Holy Cross parish directly at Nathan Bill’s. This event will start at 8 a.m.

Nathan Bill’s will also host live Irish music on St. Patrick’s Day from noon. You can even buy a St. Patrick’s Day shirt for $20 at the restaurant.

The Springfield pub will host live music from D Reed Band on St. Patrick’s Day from 1 p.m., their Facebook page states.

The Boston pub will serve St. Patrick’s Day specials from Wednesday, March 16 through Saturday, March 19, depending on their website. Specials include:

  • Corned beef & cheddar fritters
  • Irish dinner
  • Bangers and mash
  • Caramel squares
