The Covid, snow and ice have taken a heavy toll on high school sports in the region.
No events took place the week between Christmas and New Years Day and very few happened in the last week.
The following is an overview of the basketball games that have taken place:
Boys basketball

The Chief Sealth Seahawks eluded Nathan Hale in Saturday’s Metro League action.

Seattle Prep won a close game against West Seattle on Saturday.

The Irish won on Saturday against the Beavers.

Seattle Christian absorbed a loss on Saturday.

Port Angeles took Evergreen’s place on the Pirates’ calendar and emerged victorious.
