Pollyanna McIntosh Stars in Upcoming Irish Horror Film ‘Double Blind’


Pollyanna McIntosh (The woman, the living dead) will play alongside Millie Brady (The Last Kingdom) in a new Irish horror film titled double blindwe learned this afternoon.

Epic Pictures Group has started filming double blind in Ireland this month. Epic will kick off global sales of the film at the upcoming Marché du Film in Cannes next month.

double blind follows seven strangers participating in a paid drug trial who find themselves trapped in the lab after side effects from the study escalate the situation into a nightmare scenario – if they fall asleep, they die. Brenock O’Connor (The iron Throne), Abby Fitz (The cave), Shonagh Marie, Diarmuid Noyes, Frank Blakeand Akshay Kumar complete the cast.

The movie is written by Darach McGarrigle and marks the feature directorial debut for Ian Hunt-Duffy who, along with producer Simon Doyle, run Dublin-based production company Failsafe Films.
