Whether celebrating St. Patrick’s Day or simply trying something new, Irish cuisine offers many rich flavors. Here are some of the restaurants in the Augusta area that offer Irish dishes on their menu:
Sheehan’s Irish Pub

Tucked away in Augusta, on the corner of Central and Monte Sano Avenues, is Sheehan’s quaint yet refined Irish pub. The staff offers several specialties, including Guinness Irish Stew, 18-Hour Smoked Corned Beef, Cabbage, Bangers and Mash, Fish and Chips, and Corned Beef Stuffed Irish Spring Roll.
The bar opens at 3:00 p.m. and food is served at 4:00 p.m. The pub is open from Wednesday to Saturday.

The menu at this upscale restaurant typically features American, Italian, and German dishes, but has now added Irish as a specialty. Villa Europa offerings include bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips and rack of lamb. They offer many desserts, but server Lee Smith recommends the Irish Whiskey Cake.
The restaurant and lounge are located in Augusta on Deans Bridge Road. It is closed on Mondays, open for dinner on Saturdays, and open for lunch and dinner the rest of the week.
