Hummel are one of the most recognized sports brands in Europe and their mission is to ‘CHANGE THE WORLD THROUGH SPORT’, and they fully support grassroots football. Based on this, they are delighted to have the opportunity to partner with the Midland Football League. (MFL)
The MFL has over 120 clubs involved in its various leagues, including over 40 clubs playing in stages 5 and 6 of the English pyramid scheme.
The new partnership will see clubs in League Divisions 2 and 3 wear Hummel-branded bench wear at games and the MFL will promote Hummel as its brand of choice across all clubs.
Speaking about the deal, MFL President Mike Joiner said:
“We are delighted to have such a prestigious brand associated with the league. The new partnership is one of many that the league (MFL) has announced in recent weeks – all aimed at helping our member clubs.
“I’m sure Hummel will provide excellent service to clubs in our league in the future.”
James Golden, Hummel’s Head of Team Sports, UK & Ireland added:
“Non-league football is the heart of the game and it seemed obvious that our brand was involved at this level of football.
“We look forward to working with the league (MFL) over the coming seasons and engaging with clubs across the Midlands.
To mark the start of the partnership, a presentation took place before the MFL game between Kenilworth and Knowle on Saturday 24e September. Both teams will sport the new bench attire and board members will be on hand to celebrate the partnership.
