Sky Sports have been criticized for showing multiple replays as Wallabies full-back Tom Banks fell badly on his arm.
Jordan Petaia replaced the full-back, who was sent off with the injury.
Despite the furor directed at Sky Sports, it was actually the Australian broadcasters who controlled the reruns.
Tom Banks arm break:
Five of rugby’s worst career-ending injuries
1) Rob Horne
The 30-year-old, who suffered several serious arm injuries at elite level, was forced to retire after suffering nerve damage to his right arm while playing for Northampton Saints against Leicester Tigers in the English Premiership at the beginning of 2018.
A fierce 34-time outside center for Australia, Horne was the Saints’ leading try scorer with eight.
Prior to joining the Saints, Horne enjoyed a successful 10-year stint with Sydney’s New South Wales Waratahs and was a member of the 2014 side that won a maiden Super Rugby title under manager Michael Cheika, the current boss of the Wallabies.
Horne represented Australia at the 2011 and 2015 World Cups and played against the British and Irish Lions in 2013.
