THE CONSUL GENERAL of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) in Northern Ireland, Dr Christopher Stange, has facilitated the donation of a brand new commercial grade zero-turn agricultural lawn mower to help the committee Bequia Sports Management. The £12,000 (EC$45,000.00) machines will primarily be used for maintenance of playgrounds on Bequial, a statement said.

Grenadines Deputy Director of Affairs Carlos Williams and Department of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Permanent Secretary Sandy Peters-Phillips, along with representatives from the Bequia Sports Management Committee were on hand at Kingstown Port, to receive the gift.
Applauding the initiative, the Consul General said, “It is an honor to play our role overseas through foreign diplomacy to deliver this project and much needed equipment for the Northern Grenadines. “Thank you to all our partners: Gosford Equipment, Kestrel Liner Agencies, Clarksons Port Services and SFG Forwarding for helping us in the economic, social, sporting, health and welfare development of our great country.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade expressed its gratitude to the Consul General and the donors for their efforts to facilitate the donation.
